Organise Fastmail email receipts
Fastmail works well with rct-keep through IMAP app-password access, with forwarding still available as a narrower fallback.

Best option
If your receipts already arrive in Fastmail, connect the mailbox directly with a Fastmail app password. That gives rct-keep another live feed for both historical and new receipt emails.
Connect Fastmail
- Create a Fastmail app password
Generate one with IMAP access in your Fastmail account settings. - Open Settings
Select Connect Fastmail in Email Accounts. - Enter your Fastmail address and app password
Use your full Fastmail address as the username and tick the folders you want scanned. - Choose the import range
Use 30 or 90 days first if you want the first import to complete sooner. - Save the connection
rct-keep validates the mailbox and starts scanning right away.
For the provider-neutral version of the same flow, see Connect an IMAP mailbox.
Use forwarding instead
Fastmail rules and filters are still a good choice if you only want a small set of senders to feed rct-keep. Find your personal forwarding address in Settings and then follow Email forwarding setup.
After setup
- Receipt candidates are fetched and parsed in the background, so new receipts may appear over several minutes rather than all at once.
- The connection status in Settings shows when the inbox is up to date or paused under limits.
- You can keep Fastmail connected alongside Gmail or other IMAP inboxes.
- You can trigger another full scan later with Scan now.
