Terms of Service

These are the terms under which rct-keep is offered. They're written to be readable, not to trick you. If something is unclear, email us.

The service

rct-keep is a receipt management tool. You can upload receipts, forward them by email, and the service will parse, store, and organise them for you. The service is provided as-is, as a subscription.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to use rct-keep. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One person per account — accounts are not transferable.

Acceptable use

Use rct-keep for your own legitimate receipt management. Don't:

• Submit content you don't have the right to upload
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Abuse the service in ways that degrade it for others (e.g. automated bulk uploads beyond normal use)
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page — your access continues until the end of the current period, then stops. We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but if something went wrong, email us and we'll sort it out.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you're on an annual plan, the new price takes effect at your next renewal.

Your data

Your receipts are yours. We don't claim any rights over the content you submit. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is stored and used.

When you close your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. We don't hold it hostage.

Uptime and reliability

We aim for high availability but don't offer a formal SLA. If the service is unavailable for an extended period, contact us — we'll make it right.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we close your account for a reason other than a terms violation, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

Limitation of liability

rct-keep is provided "as is". We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or gross negligence.

Changes

If we make a material change to these terms, we'll give you at least 14 days' notice by email. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
